Cisco pushes autonomous networking and agentic operations to help operators prepare for the AI era

Rana El Desouky Kazamel, Senior Director Product Management, Provider Connectivity at Cisco, highlighted growing operator adoption of autonomous networking and agentic AI platforms to improve service availability, accelerate remediation and create new revenue opportunities. She said challenges remain around organisational change, trust in AI and data quality. Through its Crosswork AI platform, Cisco is helping operators deploy AI agents, enhance observability and security, and transition to AI-enabled operations. Rising AI traffic is also driving network re-architecture and new service monetisation opportunities.
